24/7 Emergency Plumber in the Treasure Valley

Most of the bad ones happen at the worst time. A supply line lets go while you are asleep. A hose bib splits during the first hard freeze in January. A water heater dumps forty gallons into the garage on a Sunday afternoon. What separates an expensive night from a manageable one is how fast the water stops and how fast a licensed plumber gets hands on it.

Before we get there, find your main shutoff. In most Treasure Valley homes it is in the garage, in a basement near the front wall, or in a crawl space access near where the line enters. Older Caldwell and Nampa homes sometimes only have a meter box valve out near the street, which may need a key. If you are not sure, we will talk you through it on the phone.

If the leak is at a single fixture, the angle stop under the sink or behind the toilet may be enough. If it is a water heater, shut the cold inlet on top of the tank and kill the power or gas to it. If you smell gas anywhere, get everyone outside first, do not flip switches, and call from outside.
