Faucet, Toilet, Sink and Fixture Installation in the Treasure Valley

Fixture work looks simple, and in good conditions it is. What makes it go wrong is everything around the fixture: an angle stop that will not close, a supply line that has hardened, a toilet flange that has rotted or sits below the finished floor, a drain arm at the wrong height, or a cabinet base already soft from a slow leak nobody noticed.

Those are the situations where a quick weekend swap becomes a wet cabinet and an emergency call. We check the supporting parts before we start and tell you if something else needs replacing, with a price, before we commit you to it.

Kitchen and bathroom faucets, including pull-downs and touch models. Bathroom sinks and vanities. Kitchen sinks, including deep single-bowl and farmhouse sinks that often need cabinet or support modification. Toilets, including comfort-height and dual-flush, with new wax or waxless seals and new bolts. Tub and shower valves, shower heads, hand showers and tub spouts. Garbage disposals. Pot fillers, bar and prep sinks, laundry sinks and utility faucets. Refrigerator ice maker and dishwasher connections. Angle stops and supply lines. ADA and accessibility fixtures.

We work with fixtures you bought and fixtures we supply. If you already have a box sitting in the garage, great, bring it out. One honest caution: some very inexpensive fixtures have plastic internals that fail in a couple of years, and in hard water they fail sooner. We will tell you if we think what you bought will disappoint you, then install it anyway if that is your call.

Treasure Valley water is hard on valve cartridges. Minerals build on the seals and cause the dripping that makes people replace a five year old faucet. Aerators clog and flow drops. Shower valves lose smooth temperature control. Toilet fill valves get crusty and start ghost flushing.

You can fight it two ways. Buy fixtures with metal or ceramic internals and replaceable cartridges rather than the cheapest option on the shelf, and treat the water so it stops depositing minerals in everything. If you are replacing your third faucet in a decade, the faucet is not really the problem.

If you are redoing a bathroom or kitchen, it is worth having a plumber look at the rough plumbing before the finish work goes in. Drain heights, vent locations, valve depth in the wall and shutoff placement are cheap to get right while the wall is open and expensive afterward.
